Timeless classic. This very release helped redefining the whole genre back then, it is almost perfect at every level. Maybe a few sequences aged a little, but each track has its own narrative, and i'm sure Xanopticon is / had a major influence on sounddesign nowadays. Still gives goosebumps and the impression of discovering new things with each listening, almost 20 years later.

Emocore is not indus techno, more like a fashion trend, like tektonik often compared to hardstyle by haters or casuals. This is more than emotions, it hurts deeply with cold tunes and mystere samples. But I don't want this end... even if I never see the movie.

OWR001 - Yudlugar/Pentadrvg : For me the best release of OWR. Chaotic true speedcore, really intense! OWR003 - Skull Vomit : pure digital death metal full of amens, typical Skull V. Ladyscraper : classic breakcore track, not a fan of this one.(&breakcore in general :p OWR004 - Drugzilla : a noisy speedcore track for begin followed by experimental ambiant. Skat Injector: as always, S.I. never disappoints with his grinding fury!!! OWR005 - Rotator : an original breakcore work with some ragga samples and guitar riff. Ruby my dear : more classic IDMish breakcore, meh.
